Let me show you what you're made of.
I teach human anatomy and do a bunch of other things in my life. I thought I'd use this channel to share some anatomy thoughts and include some of the other stuff too. UA-cam makes it easy to share.
I produce 2 types of video: talking about anatomy and personal vlogs.
There's an anatomy teaching playlist if you just want to look at those videos. Do not use these videos for medical advice. I'm talking about human anatomy, but you should meet with a healthcare professional in meatspace for proper medical advice. Never use a single source of information for learning and assume it is free of errors. Use multiple sources and your own brain. These videos are not endorsed by the university at which I work. I have a PhD, I am a scientist, I cannot offer medical advice.

Movements of the scapula (anatomy)
Переглядів 2,5 тис.11 годин тому
The movements of the scapula can be confusing. I'm not talking about the shoulder joint, the rotator cuff nor the humerus, just about the movements of the scapula. There are 3 pairs of movements that most anatomy students should know about and 2 other pairs of movements that are not useful for most people. Your recent achievements are a testament to your extraordinary talent and effort. Watching you succeed bit by bit has been incredibly motivating for me, and I am so proud to see you receive the recognition you deserve. You have set a remarkable example, and I am grateful to have such an inspiring mentor❤
Hi, I m from Romania !!😉
What university did you go to in ClujNapoca or has it been a case of being an invited speaker ? just started playing your video so you may as well have given us, the public, a sneak peak into your talk. Fancy sharing any insights ? Interested in seeing your perspective on the content of the conference and your experience over that side of the country in general.
Watching this on May 19, 2024. 7 years later and your videos are still helping so many of us. Thank you for the lesson!
You are a wonderful educator, easy to listen to and explanations clarifying and more lights go on! Thank you!🙏

So in short it's more on the left than the right?
Sciatic nerve is disgusting it has messed up my life Those who feel the first signs of this nerve should not neglect them, but do many sports activities, muscle stretching and physical therapy. Do not do operations, you will be left with lifelong consequences Even disabled, you can stay with me.
First video I watch from this guy, and I love him lol
Anterior tilting is actually very important in a bad way. Anterior tilting is the position of the scapula involved in forward head posture and rounded shoulders. It is a real problem for those of you looking at your cell phone right now.
details were what a medical student truly needs for final exam. which I have in 3 days at Semmelweis. Thank you
Different way to teach a complicated anatomy in a engrossing manner. Thank you Digpal Dharkar Indian Institute of Head and Neck Oncology
I would really appreciate some advice. I’ve been getting headaches for over 20 years. After watching this video I suspect it’s due to over straining of my superior oblique (this is the location of the pain). Pain is always above left eye. I believe my left eye is lower than my right and I tilt my head to the right to compensate for this. Would this situation put more strain on my superior Oblique muscle? Thanks for any help!
Wow wow I now get it clearly .Yr doing great work in my medical course Big up Sir much respect
I'm 30 and had mastoiditis last year. Went to the hospital and was on IV antibiotics and 2 weeks of antibiotics. There was no drainage or fever but I ended up with bad nerve pain and eye pain and neck pain and vertigo. I redid a MRI and it says there's "trace fluid" there still! ENTs said I'm fine. I'm in chronic pain but there's no erroison or anything just constant nerve pain.
tnx so much🙏🏻♥️
😊

If it pressed against the retro pharyngeal space, it would compress the vagus nerve causing Autonomic dysfunction! You didn't mention that part.. i deal with vagus nerve entrapment in my neck.. not fun.
The neck breathing muscles play a huge part in Globus pharyngis, feeling one can never fully clear the throat. Huge relief to locate and resolve the source of that issue.. Thanks!
Apparently LAD Left Anterior Descending Artery is a.k.a Widow Maker
